Dr. Lindsay Mitchell graduated from Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and completed Psychiatric Residency at Vanderbilt University. She is a Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist practicing Adult and Forensic Psychiatry with a Law Degree from Arizona State University specializing in Law, Science, and Technology.
She is married to Burgess Mitchell who retired from Vanderbilt University as Assistant Dean of Engineering in July 2021. Together Burgess and Lindsay have embarked on a journey to seek out true Christian Education for themselves and their children, and have a passion for Christian families struggling with behavioral health issues and mental health concerns preventing them from spiritually living abundant lives. As authors of the book, "The Broken House: A Story of Home Renovation, Remodeling, and Restoration," they provide practical tools for families seeking reconciliation and God's grace to overcome conflict.
